Some programs and apps automatically running in the background of Windows 10 and 11 machines don't actually need to be on if you don't actively use them.
Sometimes itâ s useful to make sure a Bash shell script doesnâ t run too frequently. Hereâ s a neat way to set a time limit that must expire before the script can run again.
You can easily stop programs from running at startup on your Mac computer using your System Preferences.
