Authorities have identified a missing paddleboarder who was found dead in Maine and her death has been ruled a homicide, state police said Monday.

A woman went missing while paddleboarding on a pond in Maine, then was found dead during a search, authorities said. Sunshine Stewart, 48, of Tenants Harbor, was killed, according to Maine State Police, who are asking the public for more information on her death.

Sunshine "Sunny" Stewart, of Tenants Harbor, went out to paddleboard on Crawford Pond and went missing. She was found dead hours later and her death was ruled a homicide.
