EA is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the legendary simulation franchise The Sims in February. While the publisher has yet to reveal The Sims 5, we're getting new updates for its existing games. Here is everything EA has planned for The Sims in the coming weeks.

The Sims series turns 25 next month—fully developed frontal lobe and all—and Maxis has started laying out how it will be celebrating the milestone with new announcements, merch, and game updates. The Sims 4 is getting several different updates and free content drops, starting today and with more to come on the actual anniversary on February 4.

It's official - after a whopping decade, EA has just released a brand-new patch for The Sims 3 - and while it's the first to drop in years tidying the game up for modern PCs, the community is hopeful there are more updates to come.
