The annual blessing took place this afternoon at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church in Olyphant. Folks could bring the baskets they planned to give as gifts and get them blessed.

As Lent begins, some local churches and community organizations are hosting food sales and fundraisers during the season.
