Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was a hit, and you know what that means: Space Marine 3 is already on the way. Saber Interactive and Games Workshop announced today that "the next instalment in the legendary franchise" is now officially in development.

Saber Interactive has officially confirmed that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 is coming, and its biggest new feature has me extremely excited.

Space Marine 2 features several models that tabletop enthusiasts will likely recognize. These are some of the best. From the mystery surrounding Titus’s Chaos resistance to his less-than-friendly relationship with Ultramarines Chaplin Leandros,

"We’re pleased to announce that the development for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 has officially begun at Focus Entertainment, Saber Interactive and Games Workshop," reads a statement. "We’ll share updates on this new title when the time is right. For now, our focus remains on delivering the best possible experience for Space Marine 2 players."

Despite the third game entering development, Saber Interactive is keen to make sure that players of the second game are not left behind. While Space Marine 3 starts its journey to release, Space Marine 2 will still be supported with a host of post-launch content.
