Police identify Coldwater bicyclist who died from Wednesday crash
COLDWATER — Coldwater Police said the 53-year-old Coldwater man hit by a vehicle while on his bicycle Wednesday morning died from his injuries. An autopsy was conducted Thursday morning on Charles Edward Ward, who LifeCare transported to Parkview Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

COLDWATER, Mich. — A bicyclist has died after being hit by a car in Coldwater Wednesday morning. The crash happened before 8:10 a.m. near Chicago Street and Michigan Avenue, according to Coldwater Public Safety (CPS). We’re told the 53-year-old Coldwater man tried to cross the street at Michigan Avenue when a passing vehicle hit him.
The bicyclist was riding northbound on U.S. 17 when a Chevrolet Caprice, also northbound, hit him from behind, PCSO reported.
