The Minnesota Twins placed All-Star center fielder Byron Buxton on the 10-day injured list due to a rib injury.

Buxton will uncork a big bash next week with the town’s annual Community Day combined with the Dorcas Fest and a church fair on Saturday, Aug. 9. It’s all happening at Tory Hill, intersection of routes 202 and 112.
