Brave New World, continues its box office run but has hit a concerning benchmark at the domestic box office. The film recorded a mere USD 3.4 million on Wednesday (February 19), marking the lowest Wednesday performance for any Captain America movie to date.

The superhero pic launched ahead of expectations despite receiving a B- CinemaScore, the worst grade bestowed on any title in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford’s Captain America: Brave New World did not have an overwhelming start at the box office.
