The body of Whisper Owen and her baby Sandra McCarty were found inside a submerged vehicle in a San Joaquin canal, after a non-profit dive group used sonar technology to locate the vehicle.

Adventures with Purpose, a volunteer diving group, located Whisper Owen's vehicle beneath a bridge in Oakdale, California, and found the bodies of a woman and child inside, pending official confirmation.
