The famed lyricist is settled at the bar in the Broadway staple restaurant Sardi's, following his sorrows to the bottom of a bottle as he watches his former collaborator Richard Rodgers (Andrew Scott) celebrate.

Richard Linklater's wistful chamber drama is set on the opening night of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein's "Oklahoma!" in 1943. Sony Pictures Classics opens the film October 17.
