Manchester City have completed the signing of Rayan Cherki from French club Lyon for €36.5million (£30.9m, $41.7m). The 21-year-old France international has signed a five-year contract until 2030. He will be available to play for Pep Guardiola’s side at the upcoming Club World Cup in the United States.

Manchester City have announced the signing of goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli from Chelsea on a one-year deal. The 33-year-old was the third-choice goalkeeper in west London and made just one appearance in his four-year stint there.
