IBM said more than $30 billion of the total investment would be used to expand its U.S. manufacturing of quantum computers and mainframes.

IBM said on Monday that it plans to build quantum computers in the U.S. The technology company also announced plans to invest $150 billion in America over the next five years—including more than $30 billion in research and development spending in the areas of mainframe and quantum computing.
