NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero provided an update on Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, who is going to miss minicamp this coming week with a shoulder injury. As Shane Steichen described prior to Thursday's final OTA practice,

Between injuries and inconsistencies, Anthony Richardson is coming far too close to handing former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones a starting job.

Injury has arguably played the defining role in Richardson's inability to establish himself in the NFL so far.
