The game of musical chairs among top designers continues, with Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno departing the brand after just two years. Gucci announced his exit on Thursday morning, just two and a half weeks before the brand is set to open Milan Fashion Week with its Fall 2025 show.
Sabato De Sarno Steps Down as Creative Director of Gucci
De Sarno was appointed as Gucci’s creative director in January 2023, replacing previous creative director Alessandro Michele. Prior to Gucci, De Sarno was the fashion director of Valentino and also spent some time at Prada and Dolce & Gabbana .
