The father of Kirby Smart, head coach for University of Georgia’s football team, died on Saturday after a surgery went wrong, according to the school. Sonny Smart, 76, had suffered a fall in New Orleans shortly before the team played in the Sugar Bowl on Thursday.

The New Orleans attacker visited the city twice in the months prior to New Year’s, and used Meta smart glasses to film Bourbon Street and plan out his attack, FBI New Orleans Special Agent in Charge Lyonel Myrthil said Sunday.

The New Orleans attacker used Meta smart glasses to record the area in advance and was wearing them during the attack, the FBI said at a press conference on Sunday.
