Canadian wildfire smoke has affected Wisconsin all week, prompting multiple air quality alert extensions from the DNR.

The wildfire smoke is expected to continue to decrease across Wisconsin on Wednesday, and further extensions of the advisory are not expected at this time.

Smoke will be an ongoing issue for parts of SE Wisconsin this evening and through the morning hours Wednesday. We should see the smoke gradually clear out as we head into the afternoon. It gets hot and humid as we move into the weekend. Temperatures could top near 90 degrees Saturday.
