Right-click on the Taskbar icon and further click on ‘Pin to Taskbar’ That’s all you have to do to permanently base your File Explorer icon on the Windows 11 Taskbar.

After a major update in September, refinements to Taskbar and File Explorer arrive in a smaller update this week.

Microsoft has released the newest Windows 11 Build 25163 to the Dev channel insiders today. As usual, the new build brings plenty of changes and improvements, as well as bug fixes.
