There were times after the Feb. 6 trade of Jimmy Butler to the Warriors that the question was whether the Heat got anything tangible in return.

Andrew Wiggins scored 42 points for the second-highest scoring game of his career, Tyler Herro added 29 and the Miami Heat beat the Charlotte Hornets 122-105 on Sunday night to snap a 10-game losing streak.

The Heat earned its first win since defeating the Washington Wizards on March 3, snapping its long three-week skid. The 10-game losing streak ends tied for the sixth longest skid in Heat history, marking only the eighth time the the Heat has ever lost at least 10 straight games in the franchise’s 37 seasons.

Jimmy Butler is back in Miami for a few days. Golden State's schedule is quirky right now — the Warriors played Saturday night in Atlanta, arrived in Miami around 2 a.m. Sunday, play the Heat on Tuesday and the team won't leave South Florida until Thursday afternoon since its next game isn't until Friday in New Orleans.

The Heat suspended Butler three times over the span of a month before trading him to the Warriors in early February. Miami acquired Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson and a top-10 protected 2025 first-round pick from Golden State, and Davion Mitchell from the Toronto Raptors in the deal.

Stephen Curry's injury woes may be behind him. Shams Charania of ESPN is reporting that Curry will rejoin the Golden State Warriors East road trip ahead of their game against the Miami Heat, where he will be re-evaluated.
