Defenseman Darren Raddysh floated a backhand shot from the right half of the offensive blueline, and Hagel’s second rebound rip went through Kochetkov for the 1-0 lead.
Anthony Cirelli gave Tampa Bay a 1-0 lead with a short-handed goal at 14:07 of the second period. McDonagh sent the puck down the ice to a streaking Hagel, whose shot from the slot went off the end boards before Cirelli scored on the rebound from the left face-off circle.
After scoring one goal in each of its losses, the Lightning return home to host the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night.
