The Culinary Workers Union announced it secured a five-year deal for about 700 employees at Virgin Hotels near the Las Vegas Strip, ending a strike ongoing since November.

Culinary workers in Las Vegas have ended their strike after agreeing to a new collective bargaining agreement. Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 and Bartenders Union Local 165 agreed to a new five-year contract after the union members went on strike for 69 days.

Culinary Union workers at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas have ended their 69-day strike after securing a five-year contract agreement, concluding one of the longest labor disputes in the city in decades.

The Las Vegas Culinary Union is telling it’s workers that they are voting on a new deal with the Virgin Hotel. If approved, it will end a strike that began in November of 2024.

An agreement was reached between the Culinary Union and Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, ending a strike that lasted more than 60 days.

The new health center, which will employ around 200, will provide services with no copay or prescription costs.
