U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres ratcheted up his warning about climate change and said the world’s thirst for fossil fuels is a “Frankenstein monster” that spares no one, while calling for greater attention to risks posed by artificial intelligence if its ascent goes ungoverned — even as some leaders played up its promise.

“I’m pretty comfortable with the market expectations for the upcoming two meetings,” the Dutch central banker told Bloomberg TV. “I’m not convinced yet that we need to go into stimulative mode.”

The Devendra Fadnavis-led Maharashtra government has signed 54 Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) worth Rs 15.70 lakh crore as of Wednesday at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, news agency ANI reported.
