That the Twins would be interested is not surprising as just about any club would be, since he’s been one of the best pitchers in baseball over the past four years

Dan Hayes of The Athletic reported that not only were the Twins in talks with the Padres about Christian Vázquez but that they also had an interest in Dylan Cease, who was acquired by San Diego last spring and has one year of team control remaining.
