JOHNSTON – RIPTA is launching bus service routes to the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Johnston, aiming to provide reliable, convenient transit options for Amazon employees.

By comparison, Amazon's Niagara fulfillment center will be 17 times larger than its Hamburg delivery station on Route which is 183,623 square feet.

The new fulfillment center is just a fraction of the size of other Amazon facilities, but the company says it can rapidly package and deliver millions of items to the Greater Boston area.
