A day after announcing the death of an American black bear, the Cape May County Park & Zoo welcomed a 6-year-old male black howler monkey named Diego.

Video footage shows male capuchin monkeys carrying at least 11 howler monkey babies between 2022 and 2023. The monkeys' motivations remain under investigation.
