A mail carrier from Michigan who rescued a girl from a dog attack is among the Letter Carriers Heroes of the Year.

Michigan letter carrier Rungphet Bodnar received the Central Region Hero award for rescuing a girl from a dog attack.

Rungphet Bodnar was presented with the Central Region Hero award by the National Association of Letter Carriers Thursday.
