“The Day the Music Died” poster advertising the concert of the day of the fatal Buddy Holly plane crash just set a new auction record.
The only known poster from 'The Day the Music Died,' the concert that Buddy Holly was traveling to when his plane crashed on Feb. 3, 1959, has sold for nearly $450,000.
Another 10 coasters are going on sale imminently. The Newcastle City Hall tickets poster costs £24.95 and features 35 tickets from legendary shows, from The Beatles in 1963 to Sting in 1986.
