It appears Damian Lillard is back where he started. Lillard signed a 3-year deal worth $42 million to return to the Portland Trail Blazers, a person with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press on Thursday.

On Thursday, The Oregonian first reported that Lillard had agreed to a three-year, $42 million deal with the Blazers. The nine-time All-Star returns to Portland, where he spent the first 11 seasons of his career, following a stint with the Milwaukee Bucks that ended with an Achilles injury and a contract buyout.
