I watched all five movies about Marvel’s oldest superteam. The most revealing one is the one that was never released.

As is usually the case with MCU movies these days, The Fantastic Four: First Steps includes both a mid-credits and a post-credits scene. And also sticking to the traditional formula, one is a goofy little stinger, while another has serious ramifications for the MCU.
The first attempt at making a film about the superheroes was an extremely low-budget affair that was shot, abandoned and mostly forgotten about in the 1990s.
