Among the victims of the devastating flooding in Texas​ are campers and counselors from a girls summer camp. A thousand miles from Camp Mystic, the tragedy hits close to home at another summer camp nestled in the Rocky Mountains.

Over 100 people have died after heavy rain pounded Kerr County, Texas, early Friday, leading to "catastrophic" flooding, the sheriff said.

As of 10 a.m., Thursday, the confirmed death toll has risen to 96, including 36 children and 60 adults, according to the Kerr County Joint Information Center.
