In the eyes of many, the two greatest basketball players to ever step foot on an NBA floor are Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan.

A Dorian Finney-Smith layup attempt to retake the lead missed, and the Pacers had the ball with a little over 30 seconds remaining on the clock. Fortunately, Bennedict Mathurin's missed triple with 11 seconds left provided the Lakers another opportunity to score.

LeBron James will go down as one the greatest players in Los Angeles Lakers history given all he’s accomplished with the storied franchise. James has captured an NBA championship and Finals MVP as well as broken the all-time scoring record set by fellow Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar while donning the purple and gold.
