The Flyers hoped both Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost would become major pieces to their future. After all, Farabee had 20 goals in his second career season in a shortened campaign. Frost posted back-to-back 40+ point seasons before this year. These are players who can produce at a high level.

The Flyers freed up a bit of cap space with the clear out of Farabee's contract, and they might be setting up for more.

At the end of a wild evening at the Saddledome, having just added a pair of talented forwards in a rare mid-game trade, Calgary Flames general manager Craig Conroy was asked if he envisions Joel Farabee skating on the left or right wing.
