Giants fans, who walk into MetLife Stadium this season, will see a large, brand-new addition at midfield featuring the iconic, lower-case “ny” logo.

The Giants will change their midfield logo from the typical “ny” helmet, their current main helmet, to their primary logo used during the 1950-1955 seasons.

NY Giants connecting with the community The Giants Foundation will pledge $1 million in donations this season through 10 $100,000 grants that will be awarded to long-time charitable partners.

The Giants' logo is now painted midfield instead of the NFL shield. Avoiding the team logo was probably easier for the field crew, as the New York Jets also play at MetLife Stadium.

For the helmet, the Giants departed from the “NY” logo they’ve used since the 2000 season and brought back the old-school “GIANTS” logo.
