Los Angeles Chargers running back Najee Harris will "likely" begin training camp on the non-football injury list after suffering an eye injury in a fireworks accident at a Fourth of July event, general manager Joe Hortiz told reporters on Wednesday.

Almost two weeks after sustaining an eye injury from a July 4 fireworks-related incident, ex-Steeler Najee Harris has received an injury update courtesy of ESPN — and it’s looking like the new Chargers running back will start training camp on the non-football injury/illness list.

GM Joe Hortiz says it is too soon to know how long the new running back might be sidelined because of a superficial eye injury due to a fireworks mishap.
