SAN FRANCISCO — Officials recalled hundreds of thousands of pounds of Oscar Mayer turkey bacon Wednesday after a laboratory inspection indicated possible listeria contamination.

Various packages of Oscar Mayer turkey bacon, both in vacuum sealed packaging, or in 36 or 48-oz boxes, are impacted.

Nearly 368,000 pounds of Oscar Mayer turkey bacon products are being recalled over possible contamination with listeria bacteria that can cause food poisoning, federal health officials said Wednesday.
