The Sabres put forth a total team effort on Thursday night. Playing their first game at Canadian Tire Centre since New Years’ Eve 2023, the blue and gold seized early momentum and cruised to a 4-0 shutout over the Ottawa Senators.

Buffalo went on to double their lead in the second period, as Nick Jensen flipped a pass right to Dylan Cozens, who beat Anton Forsberg at the 4:11 mark, and 6 minutes later, a Ryan McLeod shot deflected in off of Thomas Chabot making it 4-0 Buffalo. A whole lot of "Yikes" without much to put into the positive column.
