The new plastic bottle lids are driving us mad for a good reason. Drinking from a bottle seems to have suddenly become a struggle, thanks to caps that remain attached.

Plastic lids marked 1 or 6 are not usable for benches. A memorial bench made out of plastic bottle caps from Paula's Retired Recyclers sits in front of the Decatur Civic Center on Monday, March 17.
