The Sugar Bowl was originally scheduled to take place on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2025, at 8:45 PM ET. According to USA Today, the game was postponed for safety reasons after at least 15 people were killed and 30 more injured after a vehicle plowed into a crowd on Bourbon Street early New Years Day.

GREEN BAY – Three Green Bay Packers players have been voted to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games while seven others will serve as alternates. Running back Josh Jacobs has been voted to his third Pro Bowl while safety Xavier McKinney and defensive end Rashan Gary have earned their first selections.

JACKSONVILLE - Jacksonville Jaguars P Logan Cooke and LS Ross Matiscik were named to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games, the NFL announced today. Cooke has been named to the Pro Bowl Games for the first time in his career. This marks Matiscik's second consecutive Pro Bowl selection after making the AFC Pro Bowl roster after the 2023 season.

The Carolina Panthers cornerback was named to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games on Thursday morning. This is the first Pro Bowl selection for Horn, who is now in his fourth NFL campaign.

Teams have rolled out their Pro Bowl alternates, who will be elevated to the roster if an originally voted player can not participate.
