Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Blake Snell had a setback in his recovery from inflammation in his pitching shoulder. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said on Wednesday that Snell "didn't feel great" after playing catch on Tuesday and will be shut down from throwing.

The Dodgers are looking at a bit of a longer timeline to get one of their big offseason additions back. Plans for left-hander Blake Snell to throw his next bullpen session – expected to happen Wednesday at Wrigley Field – have been scrapped for the time being,

Snell was supposed to throw a bullpen session on Wednesday, but he felt discomfort in his shoulder while playing catch Tuesday. Snell will be re-examined when the team returns to L.A.
