Michigan could see snow, ice, thunderstorms and tornadoes, just days after an ice storm knocked out power to thousands of people in the state.

Five tornados have now been confirmed in Michigan as part of Sunday’s severe weather, with EF-1 tornados occurring in Williamston (Ingham County) and Edwardsburg (Cass County) and EF-0 tornados occurring in Cutlerville (Kent County) and Leslie (Ingham County).

Yet again, another round of severe weather is set to threaten the central U.S. with damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes starting late Tuesday and continuing through Thursday.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for parts of Southeast Michigan until 10 p.m. Sunday.

Fruitport's Beach Elementary students are expected to be back in the building on April 14, following Spring Break, after a storm ripped the roof off part of the building.

Heavy showers and thunderstorms could cause flooding in southeast Michigan, which is under a flood watch from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 8 a.m. Thursday.
