Justin Fields’ early struggles with the Jets have drawn attention — and are already validating the Steelers’ move to sign Aaron Rodgers in 2025.

New York will face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1 action and that means that the Jets will see former New York quarterback Aaron Rodgers. After a long offseason, Rodgers signed with Pittsburgh shortly before mandatory minicamp.

Since then, and after a long wait, Rodgers decided to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will play at least one more year in the NFL and will face the Jets in Week 1. Until then and since Rodgers signed on the dotted line, he finally dawned a Steelers jersey for the first time at 2025 minicamp.
