Reese looked fine on Tuesday as Chicago suffered a 91-68 blowout loss to the Minnesota Lynx, posting an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double. It is unclear exactly when Reese sustained the injury, but it has now placed her status against Seattle in jeopardy.
It’s no coincidence that Angel Reese sat out on the same night that the Chicago Sky suffered their worst defeat of the season. This came in the form of a 95-57 blowout loss against the Seattle Storm at Wintrust Arena on Thursday night.

The Storm stayed ahead of Chicago throughout the game, taking a 39-26 halftime lead and never looking back. The team was led by Skylar Diggins, who had 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
