A new report has seemingly confirmed rumors about the size of the iPhone Fold’s display, but it still falls short of the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

The anticipated foldable iPhone, likely to debut in late 2026, could include a 5.5-inch outer screen and 7.8-inch foldable display. Apple is likely to focus on a tailored iOS experience and integrating components from Samsung to compete with major Android foldable devices.

“When the company introduces its first foldable iPhone at the end of next year, it will be entering a product category that’s already seven years old—pioneered and dominated by its biggest hardware rival, Samsung Electronics Co. And this time, Apple won’t be debuting a radically new interface or transformative hardware,” writes Gurman.
