MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers dropped two of their three game weekend series with the San Diego Padres at American Family Field. After being shut-out 2-0 on Friday night, the Brewers beat the Padres 4-3 on Saturday before being shut-out again 1-0 on Sunday.
Caleb Durbin’s sacrifice fly drove in the winning run for the Milwaukee Brewers, who earned their first sweep of the season with a 6-5 victory over the Boston Red Sox in 10 innings.
Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Caleb Durbin will return to Fond du Lac on June 5 for "Caleb Durbin Night" to celebrate his time with the Dock Spiders. Durbin lived with a host family, the Nolans, during his time in Fond du Lac, and they remain close.
The Brewers try for their first series sweep of the season this afternoon against the Red Sox at American Family Field.
