McGregor has not competed in mixed martial arts since July 2021. He suffered a broken leg in a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in his last Octagon apperance. McGregor has expressed interest in fighting at a proposed UFC event at the White House in 2026.

A woman who won a civil case against Conor McGregor is to sue him and two other people for damages alleging they engaged in malicious abuse of court processes. In November, McGregor was ordered to pay £206,000 in damages plus costs to Nikita Hand, who accused him of raping her in a hotel in Dublin in 2018.

Conor McGregor has lost his appeal against the civil jury finding in favor of an Irish woman, Nikita Hand, who claimed she was raped by the UFC star in Dublin hotel in December 2018. The three-judge Court of Appeal dismissed all grounds for appeal Thursday in Dublin. Hand was present for the ruling, McGregor was not.
