Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad was suspended for Game 5 for his forearm hit on Tampa Bay’s Brandon Hagel. And Niko Mikkola was fined $5,000 for a penalty during the game, as well.

Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad has been suspended two games for elbowing Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel in Game 4. Ekblad just returned from a 20-game suspension for violating the league's PED policy in Game 3, and he'll sit for two more after a high hit on Hagel.

Ekblad returned to the lineup in Game 3 on Saturday after serving a 20-game suspension for violating the terms of the NHL and NHLPA performance enhancing substances program.
