“You may hear Sophie Cunningham say something today in the Fever postgame presser about a press release stating that Caitlin Clark is day-to-day. Cunningham misspoke. That was not in a press release or the current status of Clark,” East wrote on X.
The Aces (12-11) travel east to Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on the Fever (12-12) in a matchup of teams fighting for home court advantage in the WNBA playoffs.
Kelsey Mitchell had 21 points and Natasha Howard and Aliyah Boston each had double-doubles to lead the Fever past Las Vegas on Thursday night.
