Jayson Tatum rocks the rim with dunk
The Celtics didn’t need Jayson Tatum to steamroll the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night, leading from start to finish in a 132-102 rout.
The Celtics kicked off their longest road trip of the season by routing one of the NBA’s worst teams Friday night.
Jayson Tatum scored 30 points for Boston, which was without Jaylen Brown (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (rest), Jrue Holiday (rest), and Xavier Tillman (knee).
The Celtics drilled seven 3-pointers in the game’s first 4 minutes, 11 seconds, and the Suns were never able to overcome that avalanche. Boston rolled to a wire-to-wire 132-102 win, its seventh in a row and 12th in 13 games.
