An Indigenous senator has intensified her criticism of King Charles III, again accusing the British monarch of complicity in the “genocide” against Australia’s First Peoples and declaring she will not be “shut down.

King Charles, visiting the former British colony where he retains the ceremonial title of head of state, was shouted at by an Indigenous Australian senator.

King Charles III faced more criticism from Australian Indigenous activists on Tuesday while he and Queen Camilla continued their tour of the country.
