The Philadelphia Flyers lost in overtime to the Ottawa Senators, 4-3, at Canadian Tire Centre on Sunday afternoon.

The lead would last just 43 seconds though, as a beautiful stretch pass from Thomas Chabot sprung budding Senators star Tim Stützle, who left a flatfooted Egor Zamula in the dust before roofing one on Fedotov at the 13:26 mark of the second period.

There was sloppiness in their puck decisions, gaps in their passing sequences, and a noticeable lack of footspeed compared to recent games. Ottawa didn’t dominate in any specific way, but they had more jump and sharper execution in crucial moments — particularly in the second half of the game.
