Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown (D) has joined in another lawsuit, this time against the Trump administration’s ban to block Medicaid funds for Planned Parenthood and similar health care providers.

Utah Sen. Mike Lee challenged the ruling, questioning the constitutional basis for judicial intervention in congressional legislation.

Ghorbani also said, "To eliminate patients' choices, their freedom to be able to go to a Planned Parenthood to receive the care, the expert care they have relied on, is simply unacceptable to us."
